Make a Move Art incubator Curriculum

For the creation of a sustainable transnational Art Incubator in the field of contemporary theatre we had to start with the development of a need-based curriculum for the execution of three Art Incubator pilot sessions, with 10 full-time artists and 30 auditing artists, producing a target of 10 theatre productions for display as work in progress during the project lifecycle as well as at European Capital of Culture (ECOC) occasions in Rijeka 2020 (Croatia), Galway 2020 (Ireland) and Temisoara 2021 (Romania).

Institute of the Arts Barcelona was leading partner in developing the Curriculum of the Labs.

Following the needs identification, Institute of the Arts Barcelona proposed the curriculum for the execution of the co-creation laboratory, drawing on identified examples of best practices around Europe and globally.

The curriculum covers the following elements:

  • Artistic Excellence
  • Business Skills
  • Audience Development.
